  • How do you perform ink-fingerprinting services?
    We'll enter your preferred location and use a kitchen countertop or desk to get the job done. We use FBI grade ink on FD-258 fingerprint cards. Our goal is to make the process as convenient as possible for you!
  • Is ink fingerprinting messy?
    While standard ink can be messy, we use FBI-grade ink that's not only non-toxic but also dries up within seconds! Plus, our skilled technicians are experts at minimizing any mess and will even provide materials to clean your hands afterward. So, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience of getting your fingerprints taken. No mess, no fuss, just a smooth and hassle-free process!
  • Do you offer digital fingerprinting services?
    Live Scan or any other digital printing is not offered at the present time. Please check with your requesting company to ensure rolled-ink fingerprinting is sufficient.
  • What if my fingerprints are rejected?
    Though it is rare, occasionally fingerprints are rejected or deemed unusable . Customers will be given a reprint FREE of charge within 45 days from the date the impressions were taken. Documentation or receipt of rejected fingerprints are required. Please email us at support@jocofingerprints.com with a copy, screenshot, or picture of your rejection, along with your first and last name. We will reach out to you within 24 hours to schedule your free reprint. If you do not hear from us within 24 hours, please give us a call or text us at 913-308-3774
  • What do I need to bring to my fingerprint appointment?
    It's important to bring a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport. For our full list of acceptable identification, please check out our FAQ section "What forms of ID are accepted." You should also print and have available any paperwork that requires your fingerprint technician or notary's signature. Typical examples of this are an FBI Fingerprint Waiver for the fingerprint tech or your licensure application for the notary.
  • What forms of identification are accepted?
    All identification cards must be current and contain a photo, physical description, and identification/serial number. State driver’s license. State issued identification card Passport or passport card – unexpired US Federal Identification card US Department of Defense Identification card (Military ID) Department of Homeland Security Trusted Travelers card Permanent Resident Card Border Crossing Card with valid passport Native American Tribal photo identification card
  • How long does a fingerprinting appointment take?
    A typical fingerprinting session takes about 15 minutes, give or take a few depending on the number of fingerprint cards required. So, you can relax and let your fingers do the talking while we take care of the rest!
  • How does your mobile service work?
    We are completely mobile and come to you! Whether it's your home, your workplace, or even the local library, just let us know where you'd like us to meet you.
  • Is payment required to book an appointment?
    Yes, payment is required in order to book an appointment . If you’re rescheduling an appointment , another payment is not needed.
  • What forms of payment are accepted ?
    Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover & PayPal
  • Refund Policy
    Fingerprinting services are not fully refundable. Partial refunds (50% of your total cost) are only given to cancellations made at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled appointment time, if you live within the Kanas City area. Refunds will not be given to late cancellations. Refunds will not be given to those who do not show up to their appointment or are 15+minutes late . Please allow up to 3 business days for the refund to be processed to your original form of payment.
  • Can I reschedule my appointment?
    Absolutely! We totally understand that life can throw unexpected curveballs and sometimes plans need to be changed. Don't worry, we've got you covered! Here are a few options for rescheduling your appointment: 1. Head over to our website and log in to your My Bookings page by clicking the log-in button in the top right-hand corner. There, you can see your upcoming and past appointments. Simply select the booking you want to reschedule and hit the 'Reschedule' option. 2. After booking your appointment, you should receive a confirmation email from us. In that email, you'll find a 'Manage Appointment' link that will take you straight to your account sign-in page. Once you're signed in, you can easily select the 'Reschedule' option. If you don't already have an account, you can create one from the sign-in page! 3. If you'd prefer to speak with someone directly, we'd be more than happy to help! Just take a quick look at our available appointment times on our website and send us a text at 913-308-3772 with your preferred time for rescheduling. We'll take care of the rest!
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    We understand things come up, and you may need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Please login to your account to reschedule or cancel, or text us at 913-308-3774. Please note that if you cancel your appointment, you'll be refunded 50% of your service amount. If canceled within an hour from your appointment, you will not receive a refund. No-show is considered a cancellation
  • How do I cancel my appointment?
    We get it; things come up! Canceling your appointment is easy. You will receive an email confirmation after you book your appointment. In that email, you will find a 'manage appointment' link that will take you directly to the sign-in screen to your account. Once you are signed in, you will see the option to reschedule your appointment. If you do not have an account, select the create account option on the sign-in page. You also can text or call us at 913-308-3772 to cancel your appointment. *Please note, appointments cancelled less than 2 hours from your appointment will result in a partial refund.
  • What areas do you service and travel to ?
    Primarily doing business in Johnson County, Kansas, we service Olathe, Overland Park, Lenexa, Shawnee, Mission, Leawood, Prairie Village Fairway, Roeland Park, Gardner, Edgerton, De Soto, Spring Hill and Lawerence, KS. We also service the Kansas City metro area. Independence, MO Lee'Summit, MO Blue Springs, MO For an additional mileage fee, we provide services to KC surrounding areas. Surrounding areas would be considered: Harrisonville, MO Leavenworth, KS Ottawa, KS Paola, KS Louisburg, KS Emporia, KS Topeka,KS Odessa, MO Marysville, MO Harrisonville, MO St.Joseph, MO Excelsior Springs, MO We also travel to Warrensburg, Sedalia, Columbia, Joplin, and Springfield, Missouri for an additional mileage fee. A minimum of $400 in services are required.
  • Does JoCo Mobile Fingerprinting Service Anyone?
    Yes ! We fingerprint any and all clients, regardless of reason for needing fingerprints. Our typical customer comes from various areas, but not limited to; Licensure-Medical, Pharmacy, Teaching, Nursing, Financial, Real Estate, Insurance, CDL, ATF, Pilot, NMLS, Medicaid and Foster Homes. As well as Adoption, Appraisal, Childcare , Immigration , Government job, Home Inspector, Homeless Shelters, Home-health, and Bus Drivers.
